What is the best and most accurate AEG assault rifle(s) for $100-$150.?

February 25th, 2010 by eranio

I want a good AEG assault rifle but I want it to be fairly accurate instead of a spray-and-pray type sub-machine gun. Also I don’t want anything terribly expensive. Please add a good reference for reviews and a purchasing source to your suggestion(s). Thank you.

Echo 1 and Stag Arms make quality guns for affordable prices. In particular, the Stag Arms M-16 is very reliable, especially with a tight bore barrel. I have also always been a fan of the Echo 1 G36. I hope this helped.
P.S. Check out the site below, you can learn a lot and its a great place to ask questions.

Any airsoft weapon with a functioning automatic fire mode will be considered a "spray-and-pray" weapon sooner or later, it all depends on the person with the finger on the trigger (a.k.a. you).

For an assault rifle of your wanting price range, consider yourself a JG G36K with the railed top/iron sights (not the version with the scope, too hard to look through for face mask users and costs more). M4A1 length inner barrel (just short by 8mm, which is barely wider than a standard BB) for great average accuracy and range, comes with a folding stock that can make the G36K the same size as a JG MP5 with its stock out halfway (which is small, plus accuracy is still the same), and includes the basics, including a OK-ish 8.4v small battery and standard charger, a nice 350+ round windup magazine, rail attachment for accessories (sometimes they include this in a set of three), and an instruction manual.

It is one of the well-received products of JG, which is a mid-price/quality brand. Great performance and durability if you take the basic precautions and care for it. This is the bigger cousin of the ever-so-popular JG G36C, which is one of the go-to airsoft guns for both beginners and experienced-upgraders alike. It is highly upgradeable with most aftermarket parts on the market, meaning you can upgrade it for higher accuracy, power, rate of fire, and other performance stats if you want to step up to the next level. All this for $130. If you can find a reliable website that sells this (i.e. Airsoft GI, Evike, etc.), then I highly recommend one for a basic yet effective electric assault rifle.

I believe that g&g sportline series, any thing with a longer barrel m16 etc have excellent accuracy for their price.

The crosmen R76. Its a semi or full auto gun and its super accurate. It has a 375 fps and a 375 rd clip
The only problem is that u have 2 crank the bottom of the clip to force the bbs into the tube to be able
    to shoot.

look at these 2 sites airsoftgi.com probably has the widest selection of guns you will probably find what you want

airsoftextreme.com goes toward higher quality and is sorta expensive depending on what you get
