What is the effective range of this airsoft sniper rifle?

December 18th, 2009 by eranio

I am a n00b at airsoft and am thinking about getting the BC SM6 sniper rifle, however i do not know how accurately i could shoot with it and at what distances. Or if anyone could suggest better rifles for a similar price (-) i would be more than willing to look at the guns.
Also how does a QAE scope work? i am curious.

If u r a beginner i would buy a M14 (http://www.amazon.com/Sniper-Spring-Airsoft-Rifle-airsoft/dp/B001BS3YDU/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1237647100&sr=1-5) these are arouund $40 and get 300 feet per second with high quality, more accurate, .2 gram BB’s. If you want a good gun to get started with, id recommend this one.

When buying airsoft sniper rifle the area for a good FPS (feet per second) is around $100.00 an investment. look fr brands such as WELL, JG, CYMA for average level. look for 350-450 fps for airsoft sniper rifles, use .20g bb’s and watch for the hop up, may be useful, when buying a sniper its better to buy with the scope, extra 30, and be careful these guns may jam at times

For a good sniper, u want one which is around £130. Good brands are warrior, JG, TM (well?). and depending on the site you go to (if you do go to one) they will have a limit so ul want the fps low. however 450+ fps with 0.3g bbs is very accurate.

Since you are a beginner, I would not suggest getting a sniper as your first gun. I would either look into a decent shotgun or and Automatic. A lot of times beginners will get a sniper, and they will hate it because their is too much sitting around. Most people in airsoft prefer automatics because they are a versatile gun and obviously have a good rate of fire. So i would play a couple games to see if you would be interested in getting a sniper.
