Since you are asking about the most, then you really Only need to look at Army since the Army is the largest component.
Sniper Rifle – M24 (Remington 700) and M40
Machine Gun – M249, M240B and variants
Pistol – M9 (Beretta 92FS)
Missile/Rocket Launcher – Javelin/AT4
Sub-Machine Gun – MP5 and variants – Keep in mind that aside from specialized units like SOF, sub-mcahine guns are not widely used by the military for wartime use.

There are several Sniper rifles in use, the Marine Corps commonly use M40 and MSSRs. The M24 is common in the Army. M21s and M25s are common "Designated Marksman" rifles as well. (Not the same thing as a Sniper)
Machine Guns are varied as well, Squad Based you will see usually M240Gs or M240Bs, Humvees will be mounted with anything from a M240, M2 .50 Cal, or a Mk19.
The M249 SAW is common as well, but technically is NOT a "Machine Gun" but rather an Automatic Rifle.
Pistols the M9 is the standard in all branches except the Coast Guard who use the SIG-Sauer P229R. Some special forces units may have .45s of varying models.
Sub-Machine guns are pretty rare in the military except for Special forces units, some security units and etc. but they generally use MP5s.
Actual "Missile" systems there is only 1 carried around used and thats the Javelin Missile. (No, to the idiot that said ‘schematics determine this as a rocket’, it IS in fact a MISSILE)
The TOW2 and the ITAS systems are used as well, but generally only when mounted on Humvees, or Bradley IFVs.
if by "Missile" you meant to say "Rocket" that would be the AT-4 Rocket.

Ahem…
Well, I guess I’ll take a crack at this one…
If you mean sniper rifle system, I’d have to say the most common I’ve see would be the M24 Sniper Weapon System would be the most common to be seen…
By machine gun, so you mean for a automatic rifleman, or an actual machine gunner… in the former I’d say the M249 SAW… and for the latter I’d go with the M240 (M60 if you’re old school)…
The pistol currently issued to US forces is the M9 Beretta… however, you may still see some soldiers using the time tested M1911…
Sub machine guns are not common weapons used… but some of the more infamous in the US military include the HK MP5…
Missile launcher? Missiles are fired from launch pads… you might be thinking along the lines of the M136 AT 4 or maybe the FGM-148 Javelin… semantics may determine these weapons as rockets though…
Anything I missed, I don’t know, I tried the best I could…
Edit- wow, I didn’t realize that I basically just repeated everyone else’s answers…
