what pc rts game that you start in the dark ages then go into modern age with guns and such?

what the hell game is it???? you start in the dark ages then you advance your technology and edventually you get into the modern ages and you get tanks in your military can someone please tell me what game this is???????!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!
