what types of sniper rifles were used in World War 1?

im doing some Social Studies project due tomarow and i need a flat out list of types of sniper rifles used durring the war

    I can’t tell you all the sniper rifles used by different militarys, but the most popular on I know of was the Springfield bolt action. In fact it was even used on into WWII an the Korean war until it was replaced.

    I don’t think there were any modern-like snipers back in that time. The main "thing" that was known as the ultra-modern invention of the time was the machine gun.

    Google is excellent for this kind of homework.

    Regular issue army rifles were used mostly. The difference lay in the shells, scopes, and accuracy of the shooter.

    Germans placed scope on Mauser .308, Ennglish put scope on Enfield .303, US put scope on Spingfield .3006. All were standard service rifles accurate to limit of human sight. Early Springfields were sited to 2500 yards.
