What was your worst vacation ever?

It’d have to be Trinidad. The cops were nowhere to be found, the streets were full of crazy drivers, kidnappings were through the roof, the cops and military would stand together on the street with assault rifles, bodyguards for government ministers would go to malls armed with assault rifles and the place was DIRTY. I got the feeling it was an exciting place…just that you probably didn’t want to be around when the fireworks started.
I thanked god when my plane left that country.

A so-called 5 star luxury holiday with Club La Costa as Roussillon in Southern France. The room was grubby with the rubbish bins outside (full of rats), the "self-catering" facilities were a sink and a counter with a broken toaster oven, all the sports facilities were shut and the restaurants were closed but you could get indifferent bar snacks at inflated prices, and the rep forgot to come to the Welcome Evening!
