they will sell them cheap to one of our "allies" just to get rid of them. Can’t let them fall into the hands of law abiding citizens now can they??

demill it "remove the 3 round burst selector" and sell them. i can buy one right now but there ubsurdly priced

JL is wrong … they can not de mill it and sell it as a functioning firearm due to ATF’s " Once a machine gun always a machine gun " rule. Same reason there are no M14′s available at CMP. The Semi versions (yes the military keeps a fair amount of semi versions) Might get distrubited through CMP. Depends on who is in the White house , is my guess. Otherwise they will probably end up as parts kits on the secondary market or sold off to another country.

They usually sell them or loan them to other countries Militaries. They did this with allot of M14s but got the m back when they realized that they were still useful. I’m with your thinking though brother a M24 would be real nice addition to anyones collection ;)

These PC days they will be cut into three pieces and used in some tree hugger sculpture

I doubt any will ever make it to CMP

I agree with that randy dude. But I think that some of them will eventually fall through into public hands. After that they will be pretty much everywhere. But that will take some time. O heck what do I know after all I’m only 13 years old.

Randys kind of correct except we have more guns than allies! They’ll go to South America, Philipines, etc as the M1 carbine, M14 and other guns did. The M4 is a good frame, Armalite or FN has a new larger caliber that will fit on the M4′s lower receiver, in its testing phases now. Much cheaper to only replace half the gun than an entire new design.
