what would you buy your military if you had an extra 17 billion?
ok lets say your the president of a small country like sri lanka or Lebanon and you had 17 billion dollars to spend on your military this is money apart from your national budget maybe donated from various countries what would you spend it on?
Here what i would do:
100 mig 29’s 50 million each 5 billion
8 navy frigates 250 million each 2 billion
500 Leopard 2 tanks 5 million each 2.5 billion
25 gazelle helicopters 500 million
2 billion for armored vehicles and rifles vests etc.
And the rest of the 5 billion will go towards anti missile defenses really big guns and bonuses for the troops.
please no body answer this question by telling me that it should be spent on food or the homeless etc… i like military hardware and this is a military topic so please if your not gunna answer the question with something related to the question than dont answer

What our troops need in Iraq are bomb-proof humvees or other patrol vehicles. I believe they are going for about $1 million each.
Take the rest of the money and pay the troops some real money, they are the ones that should be getting million dollar salaries and not athletes. They do far more for the rest of us than any celeb.

Why wouldn’t you spend to improve food, farming, education, or provide housing, transportation, doctors & medical supplies???
