lol I um… use the M4 Carbine with Bling and I use the Thermal Scope and the SIlencer. It’s pretty awesome you should check it out! But if I keep getting "spawn killed," or I want a lot of points/kills then I use the M16 with the Thermal Scope!! This may not work for you but it sure works for me. ( I have CoD6: MW2 on the Xbox 360 so it MAY be different!! )

Lol you do know you can/need to steady just like a sniper, L3 on ps3. Gun i think scar becaus its the most powerful, therefore less hits needed.

This kind of thing really will come down to personal preference, and no matter what i tell you there will always be nay sayers. Having said this, in my opinion the m-16 is the best combination of precision and power to be had from an assault rifle. You can literallysnipe with it if need be. The m-16′s power will be further enhanced by stopping power which personally i see as a must.

Well the best assault rifle to use with thermal i would have to say the FAL because its a Single Shot much like Cod4s G3 So with single shot i would say FAL but try and not to rapid fire it because then it will have more recoil.
