When a military pilot fires he says Fox-1=Sparrow 2=Sidewinder 3=AMRAAM Rifle=AGM Pickle=Gravity Bomb. Right?
I was playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and an F-15 launched a HARM missile and said "Fox-3". I thought that the correct thing to say would be "Rifle". Let me know.
Devildawg367 my questions is not about the game. I was wanting to know about what pilots say when firing missiles. Therefore it is a military question.

I’ve never heard any of the above said in real life.
Great timing on the question: I actually have my JCAS open right now, studying. Here’s a sample dialogue, from the point where the attack aircraft has spotted the mark on the deck. Rock 31 is the section lead, 32 is his Dash 2.
Attack Aircraft: “CONTACT the mark.”
JTAC: “From the mark, south 100”
Attack Aircraft: Rock 31 “IN” from the east”
JTAC: Rock 31, CLEARED HOT”
Attack Aircraft: Rock 31 off, two away.”
JTAC: Rock 32, from lead’s hits, west 100”
Attack Aircraft: Rock 32 IN from the southeast.”
JTAC: Rock 32, CLEARED HOT”
That’s what it actually sounds like.
Edit: Keep in mind that I’m not a pilot: I’m telling you what JTACs hear on the ground. Maybe they say different stuff in the air to other pilots in a dogfighting scenario, but I’m pretty well familiar with how CAS works. In fact, I’m going to be controlling aircraft and dropping LGTRs / SIMCAS tomorrow night and the next day…

You probably shouldn’t be on a military board for a game question. But, a Fox 3 is an air-to-air missile. A HARM would be air to ground as you suspected. Air to ground is usually Fox 4 or Guns… not rifle
<edit> I can’t agree with you, Rock. I think the "Attack Aircraft: Rock 31 off, two away.” in your scenario may be a Fox two launch.
My son is an F/A 18 pilot and they use the Fox 1, Fox 2 calls for launches. There is no Fox 3 for an F/A 18 because they have no AMRAAM. Those were almost exclusively F-14 missiles.
If there was a "one away" with an understood situation, it could be a sidewinder and two away could be a second sidewinder or it could just be a sidewinder launch. But, those are the correct calls for missile launches. You want to know what missile has been launched in your air space.
