I’ve flown with Canadian ASW crews and spent time operating with their Fleet… amusing accents at times and the WONDER of being able to have a beer with dinner. BUT, despite their smaller numbers, I would fly and fight with them ANYTIME.
As others have pointed out… their record in WWI, WWII, Korea, and Afghanistan puts to rest your petty little comment.
Also, your defense spending calculations are based on exceptional circumstances… the US is engaged in two wars and we have a much larger population than most other countries.
A BETTER measure would be per capita spending where we are MUCH closer to other nations.

The Canadian Army is currently fighting in Kandahar which has been called the key district in in the war on terror. roughly 2,500 Canadians are currently stationed there with many americans under their command. Canada has been fighting their ass of in Kandahar so maybe as an American you should appreciate what they are doing to assist your country. If you want to get into history the Canadian military has that to back themselves up with, ww1, ww2, and korea all proved their capability. It is an unarguable fact that you are an ignorant piece of shit.

Thank you to all the US responses regarding respect of and best wishes to all Canadian troops actively fighting in Afghanistan and utter shame on the original poster for such disrespect to one of the US’s closest allies as they stand shoulder to shoulder with US troops on the ground.

canada doesnt need A huge army cause we now enough not to go starting wars with every country that looks at us wrong. And remember the only war between canada and the us in history ended in canada burning down washington HA!
