Why are there people in the free country the United States of America questioning the Right To Bear Arms?
Knowing the history and why this nation was founded, how can someone seriously question whether US citizens should be allowed to own firearms.
Looking at the history of the of the US, it seems the people who found it were radical people who were not going to let even the British military take their freedom and push them around.. They wanted their citizens to be able to defend yourself from anybody who tried to take away your liberty pursuit of happiness and most importantly your life.
And if Americans today had this attitude, the Crips, Bloods, and every mafia would have been wiped out long time ago.
What do you think?

Violent crime goes down significantly in concealed carry states where the bad guy doesn’t know if the Junior Deb or the tottery old man is packing.

probably because of all the drunken idiots who own guns.

NOW you can’t take it away. If it was outlawed before criminals got their guns, it wouldn’t be a problem. U.S. has highest crime rate because people are allowed to buy guns. U.K. has significantly lower crime rate, and even police officers don’t carry guns. Guns make it easier for people to kill. That is all. If guns were illegal, murderers would have to face their enemies face to face, making it harder to kill.

Why do you need a weapon in the first place? That amendment existed when there was a chance of being invaded by other countries and actually owning a musket gave you a shot. That doesn’t apply anymore.
It is used by hicks to own guns, which more than likely will just kill innocent people.

why is questioning this?
got links, sources?
look, the NRA and the GOP already scared the hell out of the simple minded…as a result, gun sales went soaring.
yes not a single Dem has even hinted to reinstating the assult rife ban, or any other.

every one has the right to arms, if they didn’t have any how would they hold anything. how would you like it if you couldn’t have legs.

They are ‘questioning’ the right because they are afraid.

The right to bare arms is not nearly as partisan as some think
The difference between conservatives and liberal in support of the 2nd amendment is only separated by a single digit percentage wise, with conservatives having the larger.
I am one of the liberals who believes in the 2nd amendment and also believe we have all the laws we need.
Personally, I don’t care for guns as I have had one pointed at me and had to threaten someone with one once — both put the fear of God into me and was pretty much the reason I gave them up. But I certainly will not tell a person they can not own one.
I also believe, if everyone had the right to carry a concealed weapon that that would have a huge deterrent against violent crime. Statistically, those places that do allow that have less violent crime. Were as crimes of passion go up because of that, violent crime is reduced in far greater numbers.
Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to walk down a street in any neighborhood at any time without fear? Or being able to go to your ATM at 3am? Is that worth the trade of taking the chance of your spouse or friend blowing your phuking brains out? Remember, you would have the same right as you, and you in turn could turn on them. Justice, or cowboy justice?
Think about it.
Peace
Jim
