Why do people have to try and prove their military is better on yahoo answers?

I see alot of people on yahoo answers from the British, Canadian, Germany and the rest of the world trying to compare their military to the USA. I bet 99% of them have never even carried a rifle and if they did they would be the first crying for their mothers with the guts hanging out. People who have actually been in combat dont care.

Its simple, they all compare their military to the USA because you always compare what you have to the VERY BEST, thats why!!!

I don’t have to prove the US has the greatest military in the world.
It’s proven every day on the battlefield.

True , don’t know about anyone else , but People in Britain do not like to not to be number one at everything , so long as we are not killing on another , that’s fine by me – but people get fed up of the " we saved your rear ends in World War II " – so that annoys people

It all starts when people confuse it for a forum. This place has a different format, and its not conversation based. Saying anything only sticks to the questioner beacause there’s no point in looking back at past questions. It’s too much. And ‘US the Best’. Not like other military forces can say anything anyway. We’re the ones in combat.
